ARTIST TRADING CARD WORKSHOP @ SAGA (the vine covered building downtown) ON JULY 27

And as always, SAGA (the Shuswap Art Gallery Association) is always looking for fresh, young blood to volunteer. If you're interested in volunteering or just looking for information on the hip happenings at SAGA, the number is 832-1170. (Props to "Quiggy" for already helping out!)
There's always plenty going on down here. Our current exhibition is the Federation of Canadian Artists North Okanagan Chapter. There's one painting I think is worth the drive alone.
In August we have two shows on, The Shuswap Photo Arts Club (opening August 4) and our annual Paint The Town exhibit (opening August 12). Paint The Town is a really neat exhibit where local artists set up at various locations downtown and have a day to create a piece. AUGUST 12 will be the day to go and witness the artists create and then there will be a big bash starting at 7pm. The pieces will be auctioned off with half the proceeds going to SAGA, the other half to the artist.
